William Elbert Wright

William Elbert Wright, 95, of Beckley passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020. Born December 22, 1924 in Beckley, he was the son of the late John and Leona Thacker Wright.
William was a retired supervisor for C&P Telephone Co. He was a member of Beckley Moose Lodge and the Telephone Pioneers. He was a U.S. navy veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Crystal Fox.
William is survived by his wife, Deloris June Aldridge Wright; son, William Daniel Wright and wife Sheri of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Amelia Fox of Beckley and grandson Jared fox of Morgantown, WV.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum B with Pastor Sam Peterson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 until time of service.
