Wayne J. Boyd, age 84, of Shady Spring, West Virginia, peacefully passed away on February 6, 2026.
Born on May 28, 1941, in Franklin County, Virginia, he was the son of the late William Lacy and Lillie Mae Allen Boyd. Wayne dedicated many years of his life as a delivery driver and proudly served in the U.S. Army, demonstrating his commitment to his country.
Wayne had a passion for sports, often finding joy in watching his favorite teams play. He is survived by his sister, Mary Ellen Mills of Shady Spring, as well as his two sons, Mark Boyd of Beckley, West Virginia, and Billy Wayne Boyd of Nashville, Tennessee.
