Wanda Massey Cooper

Wanda Massey Cooper, 85, of Beckley passed away Thursday, November 19, 2015. Born October 1, 1930 in Sophia she was the daughter of the late Henry and Minnie Akers Hatcher. Besides her parents Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Cooper; her first husband, Eugene Massey and daughter, Teresa Reid.

Wanda was a CNA having worked for Heartland of Beckley for 17 years. She attended Oak Grove Christian Church and loved reading and playing Bingo.

Survivors include her sons, Earl and Ricky Massey; son-in-law, Michael Reid; granddaughters, Shelly Aurednik and her husband Tommy, Kellie Gautier and her husband Jason and Nikki Ellis and her husband Adam; grandson, David Reid and great grandchildren, Travis, Allison, Evan, Sophia, Jacob and Jase.

Funeral services will be 1PM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rick Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
