Thomas Akers, 69 of Sterling, Virginia, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 following a short illness. Born April 24, 1942, he was the son of the late Robert and Leona Honaker Akers. Robert lived for many years in Sterling, Virginia where he retired from Dulles Airport.
Survivors include many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, with a visitation one hour prior at the Calfee Funeral Home chapel with Connie Runion officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
