Susie Etta Jones

Susie Etta Jones, 72, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009 at the home of her son in Coal City. Born August 17, 1937 at Lillybrook, WV, she was the daughter of the late Acy and Alda Lilly Shrewsberry. Susie was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Jones. She is survived by sons; Larry Eugene McKinney and wife Fay of Coal City, Randy McKinney of Maple Fork, James Marvin Jones and wife Michelle of Shady Spring, daughters; Barbara Strachan and husband George of Steubenville, OH, Melissa Dinkler and husband Rick of Sanford, NC, brother, Lloyd Shrewsberry of Beckley, fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2009 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny Winders officiating. Burial will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
