Susan Ross Winner Sullivan passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the age of 73.

A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, WV, Susan went on to earn a master’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Marshall University, where she later became an Associate Professor of Communication Disorders.

She served as President of the Junior Women’s Club in Huntington and volunteered in her community and church. Susan was an avid crafter, and enjoyed art, reading, travel, and singing in her church choir.

Susan is survived by her sons Andrew (Jenn Crickard) and Clifford (Rebecca) Sullivan, her grandson Jack, her twin sister Sally Leeber, her niece Ashley Williams, and nephew Adam Sotak.

Even through a decades long battle with multiple sclerosis, she never lost her smile or her trademark laugh. She will be greatly missed by her family and congregation, as well as the many students she mentored in the speech pathology department of Marshall University.
