Sharon Ann Dempsey, 69, of Beckley passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
Born November 22, 1952 in IL, she was the daughter of the late Gordon James and Guiseppina Sia Duguid.
Sharon was a pool manager at New River Park for many years. She was also an instructor at the YMCA and most recently worked at Historic Black Knight Municipal Park. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Dempsey; son, Robbie Duguid and sister, Elizabeth “Cookie” Duguid.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Dempsey of Beckley, Jason Dempsey (Gabby) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Delany, Zoe, Makenzy; brothers, James Duguid, Gordon Duguid and Ian Duguid.
The family is planning a celebration of Sharon’s life in the near future.
