Santa passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 in a local hospital following a short illness. Born August 21, 1923 at Wickham, WV, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Nucita Abbott. Santa was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church. She was a life long resident of Raleigh County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Okie James Thompson, by an infant daughter, Kathleen Marie and by a brother, Frank Abbott.
