Sandra Sue Parks

Sandra Sue Parks, 73, of Beckley, WV went home to be with the Lord November 23, 2020. She was born June 11, 1947 in Gilmer County, WV.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Everett and Roberta Sue Vannoy McCartney.
She is survived by her children, Larry and Shiela Martin, Sherry Parks, Charles Parks II, Samuel and Eddica Parks, Nathan Parks and Erin Lilly; grandson Bodie Parks; brothers, Pat and June McCartney, Jack and Brenda McCartney, Tim and Kyle McCartney and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was a member of Faith Baptist church. She was a blessing to all she ministered to in her work with ResCare and Brian’s Safe House. She provided guidance and was an example of God’s love to everyone she was in contact with.
She studied Biology at Glenville State College and loved teaching it. She loved quilting and shared that love with many.
Special thanks to Bowers Hospice House and Hospice of Southern West Virginia for their care and compassion during her final months.
It was her wishes to be cremated. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers donations to Bowers Hospice House or Hospice of Southern West Virginia in Sandra Parks’ name would be appreciated.
