Salvatore "Sam" Sanna

Salvatore “Sam” Sanna, 75, of Beckley, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022.

Born March 25, 1947 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Michael Angelo and Jospehine Carrie Greco Sanna.

Sam was a retired well tender for Cabot Oil and Gas. He was very active in duck hunting and Duck’s Unlimited, fishing and deer hunting.  Sam loved telling stories and joking with his buddies.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Kincaid Sanna; children, Sam Sanna, Jr, Wendy, Britt (Jeremy), Scott (Sarah); grandchildren, Taylor, Parker, Tristan, Christian, Samuel, Katelynn; sister, Victoria “V.J.” Monarchy (Bob); mother-in-law, Muriel Kincaid; brother-in-law, Jack Sizemore; sister-in-law, Holly Bess Kincaid as well as many close family and friends.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sam Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Higginbotham, Scott Mangum, Sam Sanna, Jr., Tristan Mangum, Christian Higginbotham, Parker Openlander

Honorary Pallbearers are Rusty Barbour, Don Pannell, Ralph Warner, Darrell Stone, Glen pack, Russell Perkins

Following the burial, the family invites everyone to a reception at the Moose.
