Rosetta Cheryl Morgan

Rosetta Cheryl Morgan, 63, of Mt. Hope, passed away Thursday July 1, 2021. Born January 21, 1958, in Kilsyth, WV, she was the daughter of the late John William and Edith Caroline Ruff. Besides her parents she Rosetta was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Ruff and brothers, John W. Ruff, Jr., Larry Ruff, Howard Ruff, Kenneth Ruff and Perry Ruff.

Rosetta attended Mt. Hope First Assembly of God. She loved the precious time spent with her family, including church family.

Survivors include her husband, James Morgan, III; son, Charles Craddock, II of Mt. Hope; daughters, Melinda Carr and her husband Darius of Fayetteville and Jamie Stearns and her husband Richard of Oak Hill; brothers, James Ruff of Mt. Hope, Robert Ruff of Arkansas and Arlie Ruff of Ohio; sisters, Betty Painter of Beckley, Freda Vangelo of New Jersey and Janice Kincaid of Chicago; grandchildren, Aaron, LeBron and Camryn Carr, Faith Hysell, Courtney Kees, Adam Jones, Alexis Stearns and Allie Stearns; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Larry Humphrey officiating. Visitation is 1 hour prior to the service at the cemetery. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
