Rose Marie Conkle

Rose Marie Conkle, 70, of Surveyor passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015. Born October 6, 1945 in Fayette County she was the daughter of the late Dawson and Lou Emma Acord McMillion. Besides her parents Rose was preceded in death by a son, Bernie Honaker and sister, Jean McMillion.
Rose was a longtime member of the Grace Independent Baptist Church and loved spending time with her church family.
Survivors include her husband, David Alan Conkle; sons, Gary Paul Honaker and his wife JoAnn and Danny Honaker; step daughters Lahoma Smith and husband Michael, Tracey Massey and husband Cecil and Erica Williams and husband Scott; brothers, Denver Acord and wife Pat, Gary McMillion and wife Midget, Donnie McMillion and Billy McMillion and his wife Bertha; sisters, Mary Lou Sewell and husband Jim, Linda Lemon and Nola Webb and her husband Charles along with 14 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2015 at Grace Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Benny Cozort officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
