Roger Lee Fisher

Roger Lee Fisher, 82, of Beckley, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019.
Born August 21, 1936 in Marshall County, WV, he was the son of the late Albert Russell and Virginia Hill Fisher.
Roger was retired from the WV Department of Agriculture. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gerldean; daughters, Rebecca Fondale, Lori Thompson and a sister, Elverna McCracken.
He is survived by a son, Roger Lee Fisher, Jr and his wife Judy of Beckley; daughters, Cindy Lilly and husband Kenn of Beaver, Cherrie Meadows of Statesville, NC, Beverly Tolliver of Beckley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Katherine Franklin and husband Charles of Cameron, WV, Theo Wilson and Barbara West and husband Don of Shady Side, OH, Betty Van-Tine of Moundsville, WV as well as his extended family from Tudors.
Services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Wes Fondale officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801
