Robert Craigo Nasby

Robert “ Bob” Craigo Nasby, 92, was born and raised in Montgomery, WV area on March 26th 1933 and passed away at hospice on September 20, 2025 after a long battle with dementia. The Nasby family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Southern WV for taking care of Bob for the past week he was alive.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Veda Nasby, son Robert Lee Nasby, his brother William “ Bill” Nasby and his wife Joan and son Michael Nasby.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Edna Ruth Nasby; grandchildren Casey and Courtney Nasby, and great granddaughter Zoey Nasby.

Bob was the heart of his family, a devoted man of faith who believed in God, Bob went to Beckley First Baptist Church. Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whose presence brought warmth and comfort to everyone who knew him. He shared a beautiful life with his wife of 71 years, Edna. Bob served in the Army. He spent many years working with National Mine and A.L . Lee where his honesty, hard work, and kindness left a lasting impression. Bob made his home in Beckley, WV. His pride was not his career, but the life he built with his family, friends and loved ones. Bob’s legacy is one of a man of Christian faith, love, devotion and family. His gentle spirit, steady presence and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

Services will be on Wednesday September 24, 2025, viewing is at 11 and services at 12 at Calfee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
