Robert Anthony Edwards

Robert Anthony Edwards, born on February 18, 1966, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully from natural causes on April 2, 2026, in Beckley, West Virginia.

Robert was preceded in death by: Ky'reese Napper, Mamie Edwards, Andrea Edwards, Thomas Edwards, Steven Edwards, Robert Edwards, Ryan Edwards.

He was a devoted father and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family.Robert is survived by his son Niko Burgess (Bree) and his daughter Ceceilia Burgess, as well as daughters Danisha Nicholes, LaKetra Nicholes, and Alexia Cole (Sean). He cherished his family deeply, especially his grandchildren: Janiyah Coats, Kajaesha Napper, Daymaree Cole, Shauntavia Cole, Greyson Burgess, Carson Burgess, and Rowan Burgess, along with his great-grandson, Ka'jour Napper. He is also survived by his brothers Lawrence Edwards, Donald Edwards, Mark Ambler. and sister Ada Edwards.

Robert was known for his generosity and willingness to help others. His culinary skills brought joy to many gatherings, as he often prepared meals for family and friends. Alongside his passion for cooking, Robert had a deep appreciation for cars, frequently finding pleasure in working on and admiring them. His memorable moments were often centered around family celebrations and sharing stories, creating lasting memories with those he held dear.Robert's presence will be missed, but his spirit and love will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.

Cremation has taken place, honoring his wishes. The family will have a celebration of life in the near future to celebrate Robert. We would like to thank Calfee Funeral Home for helping the family during this difficult time.
