Rebecca “Becky” Lilly, 83, formerly of Grandview, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2019, at Hilltop Nursing Home following a long illness. Becky was the daughter of the late William Henry Roles and Mildred Rebecca Holliday Roles. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Naaman Hugh Lilly, of 51 years, and brother John Griffin Roles.
Becky was a loving mother with a joyful, infectious laugh, and she enjoyed crafting, gardening, and her secret stash of Hershey’s chocolate. She will be greatly missed by her son, Ronald Gene Brunk and wife, Tracie, daughter Patricia Anne Lilly Horton and husband, Michael, son Robert Earl Lilly and wife Sherry, and daughter, Karen Sue Lilly Arbaugh.
Her memory is also cherished by her sisters, Judith Roles Davis and husband, Jim, and Mary Roles Sparks and husband, Robert; as well as six grandchildren – Ashley, Michael, Meagan, Michael II, Justin, and Cody – and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family expresses special thanks to nurses Lynn, Rachael, and Heather at Hilltop for their extraordinary love and care.
Funeral services will be at Calfee Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 6. Visitation at 11:00 am, and funeral at noon with Pastor Dan Holstein officiating. There will be no graveside services.
