Ralph Pee Wee Bond

Ralph “Pee Wee” Bond, 87, of Johnson City, TN, formerly of Sophia, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015. Born June 20, 1927 in Beckley he was the son of the late James and Minnie Jane Wilson Bond. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers James Russell, Jack and Harry and sisters, Julia and Eunice. Pee Wee was retired and spent his time with family, socializing with friends and dancing the jitterbug.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Anne Gorman Bond of Johnson City, TN; daughter, Jane Elizabeth Bond also of Johnson City; son, Ralph Gerard (Gerry) Bond of Kannapolis, NC and grandsons, James Raymond (Jimmy) Johnson of Hampton, TN, Ward Valen Bond of Kannapolis, NC and Victor Levi Bond of Kannapolis, NC.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Calfee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on the family 2 hours prior to the service Sunday.
James Raymond B. Johnson, Gerry Bond and Jeff Goode will serve as pallbearers.
