Nellie Gray Miller

Nellie Gray Miller (Broyles), age 81, of Beckley, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Nellie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Born August 9, 1941 in Ballard, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ollie Broyles. Nellie was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church and taught Sunday school for over 20 years.

Nellie was the wife of the late Henry Ray Miller of Beckley. She leaves children, Lawanna Gentry of Fredricksburg, Troy Miller (wife Amy) of Beckley, WV, Katrina Moore (husband Charles) of Cleveland, OH and Shane Miller of Beckley, WV; grandchildren, Chris Bostic (wife Julie) Culpeper, VA, Ashley Clark (husband Chris) of Spotsylvania, VA, Kristen Sweat (husband Ryan) of Chesapeake, VA, Cooper Miller (wife Morgan), Maddie and Parker Miller of Beckley, and Ethan Moore of Cleveland, OH; great grandchildren, Brooke Bostick, Brogan and Easten Clark, Cameron Sweat and Beau Ray Miller.  Nellie leaves one surviving sister Josephine Riner (husband Joe) of Statesville, NC.

Nellie enjoyed gardening, visiting shut-ins and talking on the phone with friends and family.  Nellie also donated to many charities and organizations.

Funeral services will be held at Calfee Funeral Home in Beckley, on Sunday, September 4th.  Visitation will be 12 noon to 2:00 pm, funeral service will follow 2:00 pm-2:30 pm. Burial will be 4:00 pm, at Orchard Cemetery in Ballard, WV.
