Minnie Lois Hyatt

January 24, 1927 — November 5, 2017

Minnie Lois Hyatt, 90, of Beckley, was promoted to glory Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Born January 24, 1927 in WV, she was the daughter of the late James and Maude Thompson Parker.
Minnie was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, music, reading and gardening. She was a member of Hollywood Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death her husband, Bill Hyatt: sister, Annalee Powell and brother, J.L and Joe Parker.
Minnie is survived by sons, Bill Hyatt, Jr. of FL, Patrick Hyatt and wife Elizabeth of MO, Kevin Hyatt and wife Kimberly of SC, John Hyatt of SC; daughters, Shirley Hylton and husband Curtis of SC and Theresa Shepard and husband Phillip of SC. As well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Harper Mills and Bowers Hospice House.
A celebration of Minnie’s life will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Bragg officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Harper Mills, 100 Heartland Dr., Beckley, WV 25801 or Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
