Michael Terry Fitzwater

Michael Terry Fitzwater, 69, of Beckley, WV, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Michael was born to the late Chester and Dorothy Fitzwater in Mullens, WV, October 9, 1954.

He graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where he was a member of the marching band.

He entered the work force as a coal miner and later became a master cabinet maker.  In his retirement he enjoyed doing woodworking projects for family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma Fitzwater.

He is survived by stepdaughter and compassionate caregiver, Andrea Terry; granddaughter, Caitlin; stepson C.T. Mooney and wife Olivia and grandson Hunter and twin granddaughters soon to be born; brother Victor Fitzwater and wife Sue; nephew Billy Scott and wife April and their children; niece Sybil Franklin and husband James and their 3 children; nephew Zachariah Fitzwater and wife Shawnna and their son, Michael Shawn Fitzwater and grandson Mickie.

No services will be held at this time.  A family memorial will be held at a later date.
