Michael Eugene Acord

Michael Eugene Acord, age 43, of Beckley, West Virginia, went to his loving heavenly father on January 26, 2022. Michael was the son of Kathryn Mace and the late Frederick Acord. He was preceded in death by Lindsey Meador, his sister and her son, Cole Justice, Gene and Glenna Mace, maternal grandparents, and Clarence and Etter Acord, paternal grandparents.
He was loved by Christopher, Kaylei, Kade, and Jesse Meador, his nephews and niece of Beckley, his mother, Kathy, his aunt and uncle, Judy and David Black, of Crab Orchard, and friends.
Michael loved to fish and camp on the New River, plant his vegetable patch, hunt, walk in the woods and swim in the ocean. Michael will be remembered as a friend who always shared what he had with others.
A celebration of life service will be held at Calfee Funeral Home, 800 South Oakwood Avenue, Beckley, West Virginia, on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Gerry White officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
