Mary Sue Thomas, 79, of Beckley, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019.
Born December 24, 1939 in Smithers, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Virginia Whittington Lambert.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ramona Kirtley and a brother, Mike Lambert.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James Neily Thomas; daughter, Sherry Yon (Claudio) of Flat Top Lake; son, Rodney Thomas (Susan) of Mt. Nebo, WV; grandchildren, Jennifer McCallister (Johnny), Michael Yon (Rachel), Amber Thomas (Marcus), Jamie Thomas; great grandchildren, Emma, Ava, Gabby, Anthony, Levi, Jordan; sisters, Betsy Lambert of Charleston, WV, Connie Barnhart of MacArthur, WV and brother, Tom Lambert of AZ.
Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at WV Memorial Gardens, Calvin, WV. The family will receive friends at the Hampton Inn in Summersville directly after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern WV, P.O. Box 1472, Beckley, WV 25802.
