Mary Katheryn Moomaw

Mary Katheryn Moomaw, 87, of Josephine, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Born August 7, 1936 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Elisah Hannibal and Myrtle Maude Wright Puckett.

Mary was a member of the Lego Church of Jesus. She loved to crochet.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Keith Moomaw; son, Steve Allard; granddaughter, Desiree Moomaw; brothers, Danny, David, Tom Puckett; sisters, Midge Woolwine, Peggy Swan, Helen Ewing, Margaret Wilson.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hix of Sophia, WV; son, Robert “Bob” Allard (Lois) of Mineral Wells, WV; grandchildren, Lianne, Amber, David, Jason, Billy, Matthew, Austin; great grandchildren, Drew, Cole, Emma, Dalaney, Drake, Madison, Addison, Tyler, Jackson, Olivia, Colton, Gannon, Emma.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2024 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Skaggs Cemetery at Shady Spring, WV. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
