Mary Joyce McGinnis Bragg,98, of Beckley, died Monday, September 2, 2019 at Harper Mills Nursing Home following a long illness.
Born December 3, 1920 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late James Bruce and Bessie Robertson McGinnis.
Mary retired from Raleigh Hardware with over 50 years of dedicated service. After her retirement, she served as a volunteer for the United Way of Southern West Virginia. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church in Beckley.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eber Bragg and several brothers and sisters, James Nelson McGinnis, Floren Cecil McGinnis, Sylvia McGinnis Trump, Orpha McGinnis Petrie, Tweed Thompson Lee, Mildred Thompson Collins and Dorothy McGinnis.
Survivors include James Bruce McGinnis (Renae) and Paula Joyce Rogliano (Butch) and numerous other friends and relatives.
Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until 12 pm on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Calfee Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park.
