Mark Alan Davis

Mark Alan Davis, 73 of Coal City, WV, passed away on June 24, 2026, following a battle with cancer. 

He was born on July 7, 1952, to William “Bill” Davis and Loretta Withlow Lafferty Davis.

 Mark worked as a ceramic tile installer for over 30 years and was often known as “The Tile Man.” Following his career as a tile installer, he worked for Floor Show of Beckley as an estimator. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of nearly 45 years, Tina Jo, and a brother Michael Davis formerly of Elizabethton, TN. 

Those left to cherish his memory include brothers Gary Lafferty and wife Sharon of Roanoke, VA, Patrick Davis and wife Kay of Long Branch, WV, a sister Debbie Bowyer and husband Bob of Beckley, WV, a step-brother Lee Cooper of Long Branch, WV, sons Justin and wife Martha “Janie” of Beckley, WV, and Brandon and wife Amy of Fort Wayne, IN, and grandchildren Alaina and Gabriel “Gabe” Davis of Fort Wayne, IN. 

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Southern West Virginia for the care and compassion shown to Mark and the family.
