Margarete Smith, 86, of Mabscott, passed away at her home following a long illness.
Born October 19, 1925 in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Emil Schaper and Auguste Fiedler Schaper.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Smith, and by a daughter, Judy Ruth Blankenship.
She is survived by one son, Danny Ray Smith and wife Debra of Mabscott.
Graveside service will be held Monday, 1:00pm at Sunset Memorial Park, with Pastor Larry Brown officiating.
