Louise Beverly Atkins

Louise Beverly Atkins, 82 of Mt. Hope, WV, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Born December 8, 1943, in Nova Scotia, Canada, she was the daughter of the late David and Matilda Carmichael Ingraham.

Louise was a retired telephone operator for C&P Telephone and a former head seamstress for Appalachian Outfitters. She was a member of Viers Mill Church of God and previously attended Cirtsville Tabernacle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian; son, Erik and brother Roland.

Louise is survived by a son, Steven Atkins of Weymouth, Nova Scotia; daughter, Karen Riggs (Tim) of Front Royal, VA; grandchildren, Steffanie, Kassandra, Krystin, Marshall, Nichole, Raymond, Taylor, Jacob; great grandchildren, Dekon, Layla, Dominic, Lilly, Casey Ray, Riley, Jayden, Owen and Damian; sisters, Margaret Atkins of Cirtsville, WV, Verna Phillips (Bud), Marjorie Phillips (Don), June Jenkins (Albert) and brother, Lloyd Ingraham (Brenda) all of Nova Scotia; former daughter-in-law, Burdina Gale as well as several nieces and nephews.

Following her wishes she has been cremated. No services are planned.
