Kenneth Franklin Ward "Yogi", 60, of Beckley, WV passed away February 12, 2020 following a long-term illness.
Yogi was a disabled army veteran that loved to laugh and joke! He had a strong belief in God! All the way till the end, he talked about God. He let his family know that God told him that he had won the battle. He struggled for years with COPD but can finally breathe easy now.
He was preceded in death by mother, Margaret Ellen Ruff; father, Julian Caskel Ward Sr; brother, Julian Caskel Ward Jr "Jabo"; and special friend and mother to his children, Linda Sue Cusson.
Yogi is survived by his two children; daughter, Amanda Ward; son, Kenneth Ward (Tia); grandchildren, Anjanique and Sy'Ara Bradley, all of Beckley WV; brothers: Bobby Gene Ward (Maryann), Roger Dale Ward (Carla), Ricky Lane Ward (Pat), Jesse Ray Ward (Debbie) all of Oak Hill WV; James Owen Ward (Georgine) of Salem VA; sisters, Lana Jo Coleman, Norma Catherine Hayes both of Oak Hill WV; Patricia Ellen Ford (JR) of Beckley WV; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.
