Kelton Darrell Cozart

Kelton Darrell Cozart, Sr., 75, of Fairdale, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
Born May 12, 1940 at Slab Fork, WV, he was the son of the late Arless Ward and Una Ivory Acord Cozart.
Kelton was a retired coal miner for Slab Fork Coal. He was a member of the UMWA and Akers Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing guitar and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Jowel (Judy) Webb Cozart; sons, Kelton Darrell Cozart, Jr and wife Cheryl of Fairdale, Arless Brian Cozart and wife Trishia of Meadow Bridge, WV; grandchildren, Brittany Bennett and husband Eric, Casey Green and husband Zach, Savannah Mullens; great grandchildren, Karoline Green, Kelsie Bennett; sister, Bette Davis and husband Jack and cousin, Chester Cochran.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chester Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Cozart Family Cemetery at
