Juanita Mae Smith, 75, of Midway, passed away December 2, 2015.
Born October 8, 1940 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marietta Christmas Cuckler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilson Smith and brothers, Clifton and Willie Cuckler.
Juanita had a great love of baseball and watching her grandkids play outdoors.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, sons, Kevin Lilly and wife Penny of Pinnacle, NC, Roger Smith and wife Telietha of Beckley, Ronnie Smith of Midway, daughters, Connie Smith and Charelene Smith and husband Mike of Midway, son, Billy Jack Smith of Beckley; sister, Arcil Dottie Smith and husband Bobby of Midway; grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Larry Smith, Joshua Smith, Roger Smith, Jr., Kristen Lilly, Mandy Smith Hicks and great-grandchildren, Caleb Smith, Lexi Smith, Landon Smith, Chase Smith and Madison Posey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rodney Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Calfee Cemetery at Mt. Tabor. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
