Born November 3, 1935 in Beckley, she was the daughter of the late D.E. and Vergie Hager Vipperman. Joyce was a homemaker and a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Groseclose, sisters; Gloria Shuff and Betty Tindalia and a brother, Earl Vipperman.
