John William "Bill" Stack

John William “Bill” Stack, Jr., 83 of Crab Orchard, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Born March 22, 1937 in Prince, WV, he was the son of the late John William and Nellie Vance Stack.
Bill was a retired Vice President for Bank of Raleigh. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Prosperity where he was also the church organist for many years. He enjoyed playing music and was a member of the former Masters Quartet. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Stack.
Bill is survived by his wife Nelma Frances Pettrey Stack; sons, Stevan Wayne Stack and wife Jerri of Crab Orchard and James William Stack and wife Sandra Jo of Crab Orchard; grandchildren, Cody, Ethan, Emily, Eden, Jacob and Alexis and sisters, Joyce Stack of CA and Mary Ann Argabright of Pax, WV.
Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor George Wood officiating. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
