John Thomas Gravely

John Thomas “Tommy” Gravely,76, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019.
Born April 11, 1943 in Sprague, he was the son of the late Robert Bernard and Gurthel Naomi Teel Gravely.
John graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1962. He was a retired Vice President for Beckley National Bank and Bank One, a member and former Governor of Beckley Moose Lodge and former Mayor of Mabscott. John was a fan of the WV Mountaineers, Green Bay packers and the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard David Gravely; maternal grandparents, Quince Lee and Laura Mae Pittman Teel and paternal grandparents, Robert Lee and Emma Elizabeth Hundley Gravely.
John is survived by his brother, Robert Gravely; sisters, Linda Hicks and Kay Hall all of Beckley; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul Zutaut officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Hodges, Keith Bailey, Ralph Warner, Dom Maddy, Kevin Reedy and Bill Garraffa.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
