Mr. Rogar started his career with C&P Telephone in 1946 and retired after 36 years of service as a Line Foreman. He was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ where he also served as Deacon. He was also a member of the Men's Bible Class and for many years served as secretary of the class.
Mr. Rogar was a veteran having served with the Marine Corp 4th Division, participated in the landing of Iwo Jima and received the Purple Heart.
