Jardan Green West

Jardan Green West, 80, of Pemberton, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019. Born January 14, 1939 at Guyan, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence Corbett and Jenny Adeline West.
Jardan was a former coal miner having last worked for Beckley Coal. He was the founder of the Pemberton Revival Center. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha West.
Jardan is survived by children, Debbie Hatfield (Joe) of Pemberton, Corbett West (Tina) of Pemberton, Sherry Sweatte of Beckley, Donna Kenneda of Pemberton, Joe West (Sarabeth) of Pemberton and Cayce West of Pemberton; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; former son-in-law, Rodney Sweatte; brothers, Ralph Bailey, Louie West and sisters, Mary Drennen, Francis Dale.
Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Billy Waddell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the McVey Cemetery at Pemberton. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 pm until service time on Sunday.
