James Robert Johnson

James Robert Johnson, 52, of Pemberton passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.
Born May 25, 1967 in Beckley he was the son of the late Kelly Farruggia and Joann Lilly Johnson.
James was a beautician. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Franklin Delano Johnson, companion, Greg Lilly, brother-in-law, Larry Blevins and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by sisters, Vanessa Blevins of Shady Spring and Cindy Rutherford and husband Jimmy of Mt. Vernon, OH; niece, Joanna Rutherford of Mt. Vernon, OH; great nephews, A.J. Johnson, Kaison Rutherford as well as several aunts, uncles and many special cousins.
A celebration of James’ life will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joe Cadle. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
