Isaac Harrison Jenkins, Jr., 84, of Beckley, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Bowers Hospice House. Born February 23, 1928 in Eccles, WV, he was the son of the late Isaac Harrison and Victoria Hammond Jenkins. Isaac was a federal electrical mine inspector and a Mason for over 50 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Lyle Jenkins and sisters, Virginia Brock, Thelma Robinette, Wilma Bennett and Ann Mae Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Reva Jo Stover Jenkins; son, Tom Jenkins of Beckley; sister, Lois Duncan of Jacksonville, FL and sister-in-law, Grace Clay of Beckley.
Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Doug Alderman officiating. Beckley Masonic Lodge #95 AF & AM will serve as pallbearers and conduct Masonic funeral rites.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Dr., Beckley, WV 25801.
