Helen Audrey Keffer,76, of Coal City, West Virginia died peacefully on July 26, 2018 in Newport, NC.
Helen was born on June 1,1942 in Yolan, WV to Buster and Anna Stollings. She married David Russell Keffer on April 18,1962 and was married for 50 years. The couple had three children whom Helen dedicated her life to raise. Helen was proud to serve the Lord for the past 46 years and enjoyed singing gospel music for everyone to enjoy.
Helen was survived by her sons, Gregory Scott Keffer of Coal City, WV and David Mark (Melissa) Keffer of Huntington, WV, Daughter in Law, Mechelle Caroline Keffer of St. Mary’s, GA, Grandchildren; Patrick Scott Foster of Denver, Colorado, Derek Sean Foster of Coal City, WV, Tyler Michael Foster stationed in Augusta, GA, Mariah Diane Keffer of Coal City, WV, Cameron Mark Keffer of St. Mary’s, GA, Aiden Bryce Keffer of Coal City, WV , Landen Russell Keffer of Huntington, WV, and Grayson Matthew Keffer of Huntington, WV and two great grandchildren, Ryleigh Madelyn Foster and Levi David Foster, Sisters; Dela Jean Handlon of Indianapolis, IN, Carol Sue (Richard) Whitsit, of Indianapolis, IN, Mary Lou Stollings of Newport, NC, Elizabeth Ann (Joe) Gray of Newport, NC and Rebecca K, Milam of Newport, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Buster Stollings and Anna Linville, Husband, David Keffer, Daughter, Crystal Denise Keffer, and Siblings; Bobby Joe and Billy Ray Stollings and Margaret Cunningham.
A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m August 5, 2018 at Calfee Funeral Home with Pastor Nina Bays officiating. Burial services to follow at Coal City Community Cemetery in Coal City, WV.
