Heidemarie Huffman

June 8, 1953 — September 12, 2022

Beckley, Wv

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Heidemarie Huffman, born in Idar-Oberstein, Germany on June 8th, 1953 — our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all the lives she touched was called home on September 12th, 2022, in her 69th year.

She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Rick Huffman.

She will be survived, loved and cherished through her daughters Teresa (Jason) Price, Tina (Chris) Partain, and Angi (Mike) Lange; grandchildren Justin Davis, Marissa Minton, Aidan Kies, Xander Partain, Trey Partain, AJ Partain, Shelby Sturgiss, Jadon Lange, Kaylee Lange; great-grandchildren, William Smith, Johnathon Davis, Rayne Davis, Adaleigh Davis, and Hope Lange.

This beautiful soul of a woman brightened the lives of many and left a mark on everyone she encountered. She lived a full, wonderful, and magical life as a mother, Nana, Nanabear, and Gigi. She was well known for her kindness and compassion.  She was a force to be reckoned with by her feistiness, sarcastic humor, and head strong attitude.

She was a woman of God and loved unconditionally and without reservation. She was a central figure for her daughters and grandchildren, and she was nothing less than a star in all their eyes. She found joy in the simple things, like fishing, golfing, singing, playing Wii with her family, and eating Mexican food. She was full of life, laughter, and love — always finding the silver lining in every hardship brought to her doorstep. She led by example, and she could patch anything up with some wood glue and duct tape.

Raise a margarita for the celebration of the life she so fully led to Nana, Nanabear and Gigi, never stop shining your light on us from above. Gone but never forgotten.

At her request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project in her honor at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org/.  We encourage you to please share memories and condolences on her Facebook page or at www.calfeefuneralhome.com.
