Hazel Pearline Meadows

Hazel Pearline Meadows, 82, of Beckley, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Bowers Hospice House. Born October 19, 1932 in Rawl, WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruby Caraway Williams. Besides her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Meadows; son, Howard Arthur Meadows, II; daughter, Bonnie Christine Lazzaro; infant son, David meadows; brothers, Harold and Tom Williams and a great-granddaughter, Star Sayers.

Hazel was a longtime member of the Church Of God The Eternal. She loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and listening to gospel music. She was once the owner of Young At Heart, an assisted living home in Maryland, before moving to West Virginia.

Hazel is survived by her daughters, Patricia Irene Moyer and Shelia Rose Mitchell; a son, Michael Steven Meadows; brothers, John Paul and Roy Williams; 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11AM Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Wilkes-Meadows Cemetery with Minister Arritt officiating.
