Flossie was a nurse at Raleigh General Hospital for twenty years, was a member of the Cranberry Baptist Church and had been a lifelong resident of Raleigh County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Frye, by her two sons; Charles and Gary Frye and by a step daughter, Cecelia Darvy.
