Ella Keine Hibbard

Ella Hibbard, age 100, of Beckley, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Bowers Hospice House. She was born December 28, 1924 in Munchweiler, Germany to the late Ludwig and Rosa Lommel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer “Mac”Hibbard.

She was a cook at the Air Force base in Germany where she met her late husband. After his retirement they moved back to the United States in 1955. Once she came to the United States she was a dedicated homemaker.

A special “Thank You” to her cousin Bill and Charlotte Lewis for being her caretakers for the last 25 years, and also a thank you to Debbie Matics and Christy Smith for the in home care they provided.

The family appreciates everything that the Bowers Hospice House did for her.

Services will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 1pm with Pastor Ernie Francis officiating.
