Dwayne Warren

Dwayne Warren, born October 3, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on March 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved son of Lee and Jewell Warren.

He is survived by his sisters Donna (husband Jim Lorenzo) and Wendy (husband Luis Brock), and his brother Jamie Warren.

Dwayne was a proud and devoted father to Nicole (husband Jason), Dwayne (wife Morgan), Ashley (husband Brian), Shane (wife Becca), and Travis. His greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren - Jacob, Jeremiah, Abigail, Alyssa, Trent, Alex, Audrina, Blake, Cody, Lee, Caleb, Bear, and Gavin. He often said his children and grandkids were his greatest accomplishment, and he made sure they knew it.

A true Detroit native, Dwayne loved sports - especially cheering on the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed betting on games and, most of all, being surrounded by his loved ones.

Dwayne spoke softly, but he fought hard. He was one of the strongest men many knew - not just physically, but in spirit. His raspy, contagious laugh could fill a room. He was known for his quiet, mumbling humor and his ability to make others smile when they needed it most.

Though he battled personal demons and lost time with his family, later in life he fought just as hard for forgiveness and redemption. He made it a point to never miss a birthday, holiday, or important event, no matter what he was facing. He could not stand the thought of someone he loved being upset with him - he was deeply sensitive with the ones he cared about most.

Dwayne was a protector, a great friend, and a devoted father and grandfather. His love, laughter, and strength will live on through all who knew him.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing his love remains with us always. He will be profoundly missed every single day.
