Douglas Green Hopkins, Sr.

Douglas Green Hopkins, Sr., 88, of Crab Orchard, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Born August 30, 1934 in Beckley, he was the son of the late Willie Green and Exie Crawford Hopkins.

Douglas worked as a welder in the mining industry.  He loved going to flea markets and was well known for riding his motorcycle on the “Wall of Death”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Greco Hopkins; daughter, Dallas Meadows and sons, Douglas Green Hopkins, Jr. and Mark Lewis Hopkins.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Ewing of Crab Orchard; grandchildren Thomas, Jennifer, Douglas, III, Eddie Lee, Darrell, Tristan, Dylan, Cayce and numerous great-grandchildren.

Following his wishes there will be no service.
