Beckley, WV

Constance (Connie) Ellen Sirianni, 84 of Beckley, WV, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024, at the Bowers Hospice House surrounded by her family.

She was born March 13, 1939, Abney, WV, a daughter of the late Lemuel Blevins and Hessie Canady. After Connie graduated from Sophia High School, she moved to Cleveland, OH where she did factory work until she retired in 1998. After retiring, she moved to Beckley, WV. She quickly learned that retirement was not for her, so she returned to work as a Human Resource Case Worker for the Salvation Army. She worked there for twenty years before retiring at age 84. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her mother, Hessie; father, Lemuel; siblings: Frank Blevins, Lee Blevins, Bonnie Howell, Linda Saunders, Bennie Blevins, Pat Hart, Leon (Butch) Blevins, Carol Blevins, Doug Blevins, Josephine Goss, and David Blevins; and grandchildren Matthew Thompson and Morgan Powell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Sirianni; daughter Dianna (Rockey) Powell of Beckley, WV; son James (Beverly) Kniceley of Danville, IN; grandchildren: Amanda (Josh) Ellis of Coatesville, IN; Melissa (Foster) Lincoln of Tampa, FL; Kyle (Ashley) Thompson of Charleston, WV; Aaron (Jessica) Kniceley of Beech Grove, IN; Logan Powell of South Point, OH; great-grandchildren: Tanner, CJ, Karymn, Harlon, Lucas, Easton, Kane, Evelyn, and Kash; sisters Rebecca (Wayne) Hart of Coal City, WV; and Vannie Atkins-McKinney of Abney, WV; special friends Connie Baines, Janice Rash, and Brian Beckett; and many nieces and nephews.

Connie lived a full, beautiful life and treasured her family dearly. Her grandchildren were her world, holding a special bond with each one. She was a selfless, strong-willed, and compassionate woman whose love was fierce and unconditional. The heart of the family, her home was always full of love and laughter. We could not have asked for a better wife, mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. She made a profound impact on all who knew her, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts. We will miss her every minute of every day, but her spirit and strength will live on in each of us.  We will cherish all the wonderful memories she has given us and honor the legacy of love she has bestowed upon our lives.
