Christopher David Covey

February 28, 1985 — November 2, 2020

Chistopher David Covey, 35, of Mabscott, passed away Monday, November 2nd, 2020. Born February 28th, 1985 in Beckley, he was the son of Brenda (Debbie) Covey and the late Donald Ray Covey.

To know Chris was to love him. He had an outgoing friendly personality and never seemed to meet a stranger. Always there to lend a hand or listen to a friend in need of comfort; his warm smile and soft eyes just had a way of bringing peace to those around him. He was full of life and often times on the weekend you would find him at the dirt tract races or just out enjoying time with his friends.

Left behind to cherish his memory is his daughter Makynzie of Florida and mother Brenda (Debbie) of Mabscott, as well as his brother Frank Covey and wife Carrie of Circleview and sisters Lola Moore and husband Adam of Fitzpatrick and Sarah Donnally and husband Cody of Oak Hill. He also leaves behind his grandmothers Debbie Sweeny of Mabscott and Rita Cunningham of Roanoke, nieces Charity, Samantha, Brianna, and Cassandra and a nephew Jason. Chris will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.
