Charles Edward Ferguson, Jr.

Charles Edward Ferguson, jr, age 54, of Crab Orchard, WV departed to Heaven surrounded by family on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

He was born September 28, 1968at Fort Brag, NC to Mary Kythryn Fain and the late Charles Ferguson.

He leaves behind his wife, Lisa Ferguson of Crab Orchard, WV; his mother, Mary Kythryn Fain of Lester; two daughters, Jessica Ferguson of FL and Justine (Trent) Waters of IN; one son, Charles Ferguson, III (Stephanie) of IN; two stepsons, Josh Burris of OH, Isaiah Jordan of Crab Orchard; three stepdaughters, Alisha Burris of OH, Aurile (Jordan) Chapman of AK, Kayla Jordan of AK. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Emma, Charles, Camden, Liam, Elizabeth, Jameson, Hudson and one step-grandchild, Hallie.; brother, Johnnie Ferguson of NC and sister, Denise (Tim) Keeton of KY;one step-brother Mark (Reah) Fain, from Oak Hill and one step- sister Karla Fain (Greg Lancaster) of Prosperity as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was a Christian. He was a master carpenter and mechanic.  He was always willing to help others. He was a supportive dad and loving grandpa. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and talking to his family and friends on the phone. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Ardeth Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Birchfield Cemetery at Flat Top.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
