Carrie Maxine Dial

Carrie Maxine Dial, 71, of Amigo, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Born February 28, 1943 in Northfork, WV she was the son of the late Jacob and Mary Church Norman. Besides her parents Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Edward Dial; sons, Aaron “Buster” Dial, Kevin Matthew Dial, Roy “Bucko” Dial and Jason Leon Dial; one brother and 3 sisters.
Carrie was a homemaker and in her free time enjoyed painting, sewing and cooking large meals for her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Christina Reed and her companion Robert Ratliff and Emma Brinkley and her husband Bill; son, Dwight Shrewsbury; sister, Nettie Lou Thornsberry; daughter-in-law, Rosie Dial; sister-in-law, Rosella Norman; grandchildren, Angel Reed and companion Brandon Ratliff, Carrie Brinkley and companion Roger Poe, II and Jessica Brinkley and companion Timmy Hansford; great grandchildren, Raven, Trevor, Haley, Lillian and Hunter, special friend, John Milam and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, January 23, 2015 at Madeline Freewill Baptist Church in Amigo with Pastor Doug Thorn officiating. Burial will follow at Acord Mountain Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11AM until time of service Friday at the church.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
