Carolyn Ann Riffe

Carolyn Ann Riffe, 85, of Crab Orchard, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the Bowers Hospice House. She was born on May 2, 1940, in Goodwill, West Virginia, to Robert and Ennis Cleary.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Donald and Earnest; and her sisters, Betty, Lorraine, and Sandy.

Carolyn leaves behind the love of her life, Mark; her daughter Marie (Mike) Beckett of Crab Orchard; daughter Donna (Mickey) Neal of North Carolina; and son Tim (Beth) Riffe of Crab Orchard.

Carolyn leaves behind seven amazing grandchildren: Jon (Symantha) Calfee, Jay (Sara) Calfee, Alison (Nathan) Delimont, Steve (Kelsey) Calfee, Mark (Miranda) Neal, Greg (Di) Neal, and Timothy Riffe Jr.

She also leaves behind twelve beautiful great-grandchildren: Hayden, Daniel, Denton, Gabby, Andrew, Addison, Mason, Sophia, Jet, Cruz, Sophie-Mai, and Maya.

Carolyn will be remembered most for the love she poured into her family through her cooking and baking. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, always filled with warmth, laughter, and the comforting aromas of meals made from scratch. Whether preparing a favorite holiday dish or baking treats just because, she found joy in nourishing others. Her recipes, shared freely and made with love, will continue to bring her family together for generations.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Bowers Hospice House or Crab Orchard Baptist Church.
