Carl J. McPeake, 86, of MacArthur, passed away Friday, September 28, 2018.
Born March 15, 1932 in Laurel Fork, VA, he was the son of the late Jesse and Beulah Milam McPeake.
Carl was a retired Lab Tech for Westmoreland Coal. He loved to golf, fish and play bingo.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sammons McPeake.
Carl is survived by his children, Rhonda Longo of Berlin, CT, Jeffrey McPeake of Beckley, Larry McPeake of Bellwood, PA, Barry McPeake (Shannon) of Piney View; grandchildren, Chaz, Tony, Justin, Jessica, Shalyn, Shanna, Tucker; sisters, Billie Ruth Brown of DE, Edna Church of Princeton, WV, Betty Jean Ward of Columbia, SC and brother, Reggie McPeake of Welch, WV.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel officiated by his grandson Chaz McPeake. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
